| Mabel Almeida is an Argentinean/Italian who began her studies in
dance at the National School of Dance in Buenos Aires. She is a
graduate of The Superior Institute of Dance ‘Maria Ruanova’. with
certification as a National Teacher of Classical and Contemporary
Dance. Mabel has danced with a variety of professional dance companies,
often as a soloist. She was part of the ballet corps of the Colon
Theater of Buenos Aires and the Balletto del Cono Sur dancing with
Serguei Radchenko. She has also danced in Venezuela with various
companies such as the Balletto Nuevo Mundo di Caracas and the Balletto
Metropolitano di Caracas. With the Balletto Contemporaneo di Caracas
she participated in numerous tours in Venezuela, United States,
Israel, Italy, Bosnia. In 2001 she won a career award at the National
Government Competition in Argentina. Beginning in1994 Mabel taught
dance in Venezuela, Uruguay, and Argentina, and since 2001 she has
taught professionally in Italy. Her experiences working and studying
with internationally renowned dancers and instructors have allowed her
to develop a program of great value and diversity for her students in
Florence. |
